SOUNDplay
is an annual series produced by New Adventures in Sound Art that showcases
larger scale works or themes that include more than one media from the many
genres of electroacoustic and experimental sound art practice.
SOUNDplay 2004 will
have a particular focus on video with performances of live improvised
music and video projection by See Hear Now (a collaboration between David
and Gisela Gamper) from New York, a media installation by Matt Rogalsky
and a newly commissioned interactive installation by Christian Calon,
Chantal Dumas and Don Sinclair. In addition, there will be two newly commissioned
works by Jean Piché and Raylene Campbell presented in a Canadian
program of video and electroacoustic works by Matt Rogalsky, Jean Piché,
