January 17th is Art's Birthday (who's Art? - it's art silly, like a picasso! only using sound as art - and picts too for those performing with web-cam). NAISA participates in this annual international exchange-art event on January 17th to celebrate the birthday of Art with performances and live broadcasts.

CBC Radio's Outfront/Deep Wireless commissions
NAISA and CBC co-produce the Outfront/Deep Wireless residency in which four artists are chosen to each create a piece for Outfront that is broadcast on CBC Radio's Outfront during the Deep Wireless festival and later presented as part of the Radio Theatre performances
