Oct 29, 7:30 pm / Pay What You Can

For the first time in years Odradek and Glen Hall will reunite, this time using NAISA space's 12 channel surround system to spatialize their array of traditional, invented and found instruments. In addition to the woodwind playing he is well known for, Glen Hall will use Kyma, a software/hardware sound processing/creation 'instrument' and graphical language for live interactive sound generation and manipulation. Odradek is a trio of improvisors who have been making sound together since 2003 in a variety of contexts and settings mostly in Toronto, but also Hamilton, Montreal and Meaford (Electric Eclectics). This October 29th performance includes Andy Yue: synthesizer, piano; James Bailey: found objects, gramophone, effects; Michelangelo Iaffaldano: guitar, homemade instruments; and Glenn Hall: saxophone, clarinet, flute, Kyma.
