A month-long celebration of radio and transmission art including performances, installations, broadcasts, workshops, a Youth Radio residency and the Radio Without Boundaries conference (May 28-30). Performance dates are May 3, 7, 8, 10, 22-24, 26- 30
and installations are running throughout the month. Featured artists include Benoît Maubrey, Marie-Josée Chartier, Brandon Labelle, Gregory Whitehead, Jessica Thompson, Lisa Pijuan-Nomura, Kristen Roos, François Girouard, Chris Brookes, Hank Bull, Alessandro Bosetti, Andrea Dancer, Tetsuo Kogawa and many more. Deep Wireless/CBC Radios Outfront commissioned artists for 2009 include Hélène Prevost, Paolo Pietropaolo, Iain Reid and Andra McCartney.
