Navigate the creative frontiers of radio with Darren Copeland from New Adventures in Sound Art every 2nd and 3rd Thursday of the month from 2 to 2:30 PM as he samples the best in international radio art on
CKLN 88.1 FM. The May 8 and 15 programs feature samples of works by artists featured in the RADIO-A-MOCK, RADiO In AMBiENCE and Transmissions sans Frontières components of Deep Wireless.

Throughout the month of May listen for 1 minute radio art interventions on
CKLN 88.1 FM featuring random broadcasts of work by The Alder Institute, Egils Bebris, Dan Lander, Allison Markle, Kevin Lynn, Andra McCartney, John Oswald, Joan Schuman, Gregory Whitehead, and Gregg Williard.Heard 11:45 AM from Monday to Thursday mornings on CBC Radio One, Out Front is making incredible strides in giving access to the airwaves to voices not heard from before. Deep Wireless commissions for Out Front by Mark Brownell, Dan Hart, Reena Katz, and Kathy Kennedy.Hosted by the noise adventurer James Bailey, this program regularly transgresses the limits of radio broadcasting with musical and sound experimentation of all kinds. You can listen to it on CKLN 88.1 FM from 11:30 PM to 2:00 AM on Sundays. May 18 features an English broadcast of the Charmed Sounds radio program produced by Petri Kuljuntausta in Finland, along with an improvisation using radios created by James Bailey. May 25 features Toronto EC(h)OLOCATOR by American sound artist Michelle Nagai.
On Sunday May 25 at 11 PM, Michelle Nagai and Treetheater Projects, in cooperation with Jim Bailey's Missing Sense / Electric Storm, will present an EC(h)OLOCATOR live broadcast from the studios of CKLN 88.1 FM in Toronto. EC(h)OLOCATOR is a radio project that's touring community stations in the US and Canada from May to October of this year. Community members are invited to participate by collecting field recordings, going on soundwalks and contributing to the live broadcast in the studio. EC(h)OLOCATOR is about deepening the connection between place and creativity, providing access to community media and giving a voice to all who choose to participate with open ears. Here you will find the sound art of the Century: techno groundhogs, subway yoga, 20 minutes of feedback, and an interaction with an artist taking blood pressure of mall patrons with a bicycle pump.
