New Adventures in Sound Art | Radio Without Boundariess



The Deep Wireless "Radio Without Boundaries"conference, will take place from May 26-28, 2006 (with add-on workshops on May 29th ) beginning with evening opening reception and performances at the Drake Hotel on May 26th and moving to the new Ryerson University Student Centre for May 27th, 28th, and 29th. "Radio Without Boundaries" will explore the many potentials and boundaries of radio. Radio, Sound Artists and enthusiasts attend this conference from far and wide to listen to lectures, panel discussions, and artist talks by leading international curators, producers and artists in the radio and transmission arts field. This year's roster includes Trevor Wishart and Magz Hall (UK), Tetsuo Kogawa (Japan), Joe Milutis, Tianna Kennedy and Matt Mikas (US), and Canadians Kathy Kennedy, Jowi Taylor, Steve Wadhams, and Chris Brookes to name a few.
